Getting dirty for a cleaner Fourways

To celebrate Nelson Mandela Day, Susan Mottram – otherwise known as the Green Suenami of Ward 115 – and residents of Fourways spent two-and-a half hours cleaning the ward.

The team cleaned Leslie Avenue West, at the William Nicol Drive intersection, until it was spotless.

“Ward 115 are now able to admire their handiwork and clean pavements – a gift to themselves and the community on Nelson Mandela’s birthday,” said Mottram.

“It was an honour to serve our community in the spirit of Tata Madiba, one of the greatest givers that has lived,” she added.
