Gallery: Excitement fills the air at Joburg’s SPAR race

Thousands of competitors participated in the SPAR Women’s Challenge Jozi 2024, running through the vibrant streets of Emmarentia.

A cornerstone of the entertainment calendar for many Joburg residents is the annual SPAR Women’s Challenge, taking place today (October 6) at Mark’s Park Sports Club in Emmarentia.

Not only for women, the race encourages runners and walkers of all athletic abilities to come out and support a good cause, while having a blast running through some of Joburg’s most beautiful, leafy-green suburbs.

This year the race is in support of Reach for RecoveryThe Smile Foundation and Headstart Kids.
