Wellness Day becomes a hit at La Vie Nouvelle Retirement Village
La Vie Nouvelle Retirement Villagers geared up for a Health and Wellness Day that offered them free screenings and testing of illnesses.
On September 19, Totalcare, a leading authority in integrated older person preventative care hosted a comprehensive Health and Wellness Day at La Vie Nouvelle Retirement Village in Broadacres.

The event was a resounding success, with villagers enjoying a wide range of free screenings, testing, and getting their hands on handmade products.

“The idea of the wellness day was to also bring suppliers and service providers in retirement together and talk about things that the residents don’t want to talk about. A lot of people can’t drive anymore, so if we don’t bring these services to their front doors, then they won’t get to live it and see it. That is why it was so important for us to host this special day,” said Karin Venter, the facility manager of the village.
