Douglasdale CPF announces Sector 3 and 4 committee

Douglasdale CPF congratulates the new Sector committee members and wishes them success in representing the residents.

Douglasdale CPF hosted Sector 3 and 4 committee elections.

CPF Sector 3 committee elections took place on August 3, at the Indaba Hotel and Sector 4 was held on August 13, at the Lonehill Village Church.

Sector 3 was attended by Douglasdale executive chairperson Lizzy Mabena who welcomed all present, Douglasdale SAPS, sector manager Captain Lepheana, Thabo Thipe, Kedibane Mathale and Daniel Maeko from the Department of Community Safety.

For Sector 3 Madeleine Bruckmann was elected as chairperson, the deputy chairperson is David Weyers. Rudy Lingenfelder is the new secretary, and the new deputy secretary is Elaine Cordier. Basil Dix was appointed public relations officer, and the new patrol co-ordinator is Richard Daley.

During the Sector 4 meeting Captain Len Celliers, gave an overview of the crime for the month of July, followed by questions and answers from members of the public.

Thirteen nomination forms were received, and counting was observed by Douglasdale station commander Brigadier Veeshani Arikum.

Reza Bardien was announced as the new chairperson and Sebastian Hills as the new deputy chairperson. Phillipa Parsons was elected as the new secretary and Blessed Ndaba as deputy secretary. Freda Boiles was named the new public relations and André Lingenfelder as patrol co-ordinator.

Douglasdale CPF would like to congratulate the new committee for both sectors and wish them success in representing the residents during their five-year term. They also thanked the Indaba Hotel and Lonehill Village Church for hosting the meetings and the members of the public who took the time to attend.
