Empowering women in business

Doppio Zero hosted a Women Connect event, to celebrate women in business for Women's day.

In honor of Women’s Day, Doppio Zero in Kyalami transformed its space into a vibrant hub for women entrepreneurs during an exclusive breakfast, Women Connect, event. This initiative, spearheaded by co-owners Brenda and Carla Swanepoel, aimed to provide a platform for female-owned and female-operated businesses to connect, collaborate, and support one another.

Brenda Swanepoel expressed the motivation behind this initiative. “We wanted to create a platform where female-owned or operated companies can come together, regardless of their size or type of business. It’s not just about years of experience or knowledge; what truly matters is the connections we make with each other.”

The breakfast event was designed not only to celebrate Women’s Day but also to foster a sense of community among women in business. Attendees engaged in meaningful conversations, shared insights, and explored opportunities for collaboration, all while enjoying delicious offerings from Doppio Zero’s extensive menu.

The women envision this event as the beginning of something larger. “We believe this event has the potential to grow. Our goal is to host these gatherings bi-monthly, creating an ongoing space for inspiration and collaboration among women entrepreneurs. Through connections we can share our experiences, learn from one another, and grow together,” added Swanepoel.
