SA Guide-Dogs Association seeks riders for Virgin Active 947 Ride Joburg 2024

The SA Guide Dogs Association for the Blind is gearing up for the Virgin Active 947 Ride Joburg 2024.

The SA Guide-Dogs Association for the Blind is thrilled to announce its participation in the Virgin Active 947 Ride Joburg 2024, taking place on November 17, at the FNB Stadium.

“This year, we’re calling on cycling enthusiasts to join Team Guide Dogs and make a significant impact on the lives of visually impaired individuals in South Africa.

“We’re excited to be part of this iconic event, by joining Team Guide Dogs, our riders will not only be getting fit but also making a tangible difference in the lives of those who need our support,” said Nicole Barros, marketing coordinator from the SA Guide- Dogs Association.

“The SA Guide-Dogs Association empowers individuals to take leaps of faith –by placing trust in their guide dogs, embracing newfound independence with a white cane, or our donors investing in their mission. Each action represents a leap towards a brighter, more inclusive future.”

By participating in the Virgin Active 947 Ride Joburg alongside Team Guide Dogs, you will directly contribute to the training of more assistance dogs for the visually impaired, physically disabled, and children on the autism spectrum, as well as the purchase of essential assistive devices. Every pedal stroke and donation will help transform lives and fulfill aspirations.
