Crawford learner bags leading award

Jaidyn Naidoo is at the top of his form after winning big at The President's Award and Crawford International Lonehill College is proud of him.

Grade 10 learner Jaidyn Naidoo has achieved the silver level of The President’s Award, and Crawford International Lonehill College could not be prouder of this young man.

“The award is the world’s leading youth achievement award. It equips young people for life regardless of their background, culture, physical ability, skills and interests. Doing the award is a personal challenge and not a competition against others; it pushes young people to their personal limits and recognises their achievements,” the client experience officer of the school, Robyn Swanepoel explained.

She said the contestants were required to complete various activities over a set period of time to earn the award. Upon completion, they are awarded a certificate and badge for the level they have completed.

She added: “In South Africa, the certificates have the signatures of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Edward and President Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa. The certificates are recognised globally by employers and institutions of higher learning.”
