Just Wing It Studio dancers sweep the competition in Croatia, taking home multiple first and second-place prizes

Just Wing It Studio in Fourways is celebrating the success of eight of its dancers who recently competed in Croatia and achieved outstanding results.

Just Wing It Studio in Fourways is celebrating the success of eight of its dancers who recently competed in Croatia and achieved outstanding results.

The competition was tough, but the dancers were well-prepared and determined to do their best and also had a particularly successful showing in the A league – Dineo du Toit’s tap solo and Zara De Sousa and Dineo du Toit’s tap duet both earned first place. The Revolution Tap Group, consisting of Zara, Dineo, Taria, Thereso, Nia, Kyla, and Lillian, also earned first place, which is an impressive feat for such a large group.

Zara De Sousa’s second-place finish in the tap solo category and Taria Simelane’s second-place finish in the solo tap category are also noteworthy achievements. Lillian Jackson’s fourth-place finish in the tap solo category and Dineo du Toit’s fifth-place finish in the jazz solo category round out a great showing by the Just Wing It Studio dancers in the A league.

Dineo du Toit and Thereso Dolamo also performed a tap solo that wowed the judges, earning them second place in their category. Dineo’s musical theatre solo, which showcased her powerful vocals and emotive performance, earned her third place in her category. These dancers worked tirelessly to perfect their routines and deliver standout performances that impressed the judges and received enthusiastic applause from the audience.

The success of these Just Wing It dancers at the Croatia competition is a testament to the hard work and dedication they have put into their training. Under the guidance of experienced and passionate instructors, the studio has created a supportive and inspiring environment where dancers can thrive and reach their full potential.

The studio’s director, Julie-Anne Oberholzer, expressed her pride and admiration for the dancers’ achievements. “I am absolutely thrilled with these results,” she said.
“These dancers have worked so hard and put in so much effort to get here. It’s a testament to their talent, dedication, and the excellent training they receive at Just Wing It.”
