Dainfern College Junior Preparatory learners kick off the 2023 academic year in high spirits

Junior Preparatory principal at Dainfern College said they were very excited to be reunited with learners and parents in 2023.

Learners at Dainfern College Junior Preparatory started their 2023 academic year journey in high spirits on the first day of learning and teaching at the school on January 16.

The Grade 1 learners who were accompanied by their parents could not hide their excitement to be back at school following a long festive holiday break.

Junior Preparatory principal Nicky Jansen van Vuuren said they were very excited to be reunited with learners and parents.

“We are very happy to see children back in school and we are also excited to see how confident they are on their first day. We are ready as a school to walk this journey with our learners towards their future.”

Van Vuuren said the school was fortunate to have supportive parents and community members. “Foundation phase of learning is a very important phase for a child’s academic journey. It is important that both parents and educators join hands to build a strong foundation for the learner’s academic journey. Our school is very fortunate to have supportive parents and community members who are always part of things that we do at the school.”
