HeronBridge College welcomes the new Grade 1s to big school

Grade 1 learners at HeronBridge College look forward to their schooling years.

Preparatory head at the school JP Lübbe alongside junior preparatory deputy head Gina Brunsden were on site to welcome the learners and parents for their first day at the school. Both said there was an amazing atmosphere in the air with the influx of new learners at the school.

“We had very few tears from both parents,” Lübbe.

“We’ve done a lot to prepare them for today as well, a relationship building with them. We have done an orientation with them so they know their classrooms and feel comfortable being in this space,” Brunsden said.
