Local councillor hopes for successful continued collaborations with residents in 2023
Ward 94 councillor David Foley has wished residents in his ward a happy and prosperous new year in 2023.
Ward 94 councillor David Foley has wished residents in his ward a happy and prosperous new year in 2023.
Foley said there were a number of issues that his administration will focus on next year in order to improve service delivery to residents.
“There are a couple of things that I will be focusing on in 2023, things like effective bylaw management, push for Increased visibility of JMPD, SAPS and security companies, the establishment of more parks where green areas are lacking and regular clean-ups.”
He also encouraged residents to work with him to help build a stronger community.
“I will be engaging with all residents’ associations and residents in complexes to maintain a common theme in there which is proactive call logging for service delivery for example water and electricity outages. Residents should not wait for someone else to report service delivery issues to relevant entities and the office of the councillor.”
“I wish all the residents and business owners in Ward 94 a very happy and prosperous 2023, may all your dreams and wishes come true.”
