Matric Class of 2022 at Fourways High School donates their school shoes on their last day at school.

Matric Class of 2022 learners at Fourways High School donated their school shoes to those in need after writing their exams.
This was after they wrote their final examination on December 2.
Matric learner Cassandra Crozier was excited after writing her final exam and said she donated her shoes to help someone in need. “I am not going to use this pair of shoes anymore. I believe that there is someone somewhere who will need a pair of shoes to wear when she goes to school next year. I believe that this will make a big contribution to the recipient of this gift.”
Cassandra said her schooling journey had pushed her to her limits. “My schooling journey was characterised by a lot of ups and downs but there were more ups. The support I received from fellow learners and my family kept me going otherwise I wouldn’t make it thus far. I also made a lot of good friends that I hope to keep even beyond school life.”
Fellow learner Panashe Mathelek described his schooling journey as most interesting although there were challenges along the way.
He said he had enjoyed high school more than primary. “I liked high school because of the kinds of friends I had and the different sports that I participated in. I played soccer and rugby and did athletics which I believed helped me also improve my performance in the classroom.”
Panashe said he had applied to different leading universities in South Africa to study for a degree in architecture or civil engineering next year.
