Market on Main
It’s been a while but they’re back!
Market on Main will be popping up at the Design Quarter on the last weekend of October.
So you can expect all the happy Market on Main vendors and vibes, plus a sneak peak of Design Quarter’s redevelopment.

Octo-Beer-Fest at Beerhouse Fourways
Eight breweries, eight beers, eight brewers battling for permanent taps at Beerhouse on Long. As it’s all about eight. Organisers decided to throw in eight live music acts.
This October they leave the lederhosen and silly hats behind and enjoy bottomless beer from eight of their favourite local brewers.

The Beauty Queen of Leenane
The play centers around the life of Maureen, an unmarried middle-aged woman, as she cares for her ailing mother Mag, and tries to find love. When the two brothers enter, we are set on a path to the play’s thrilling conclusion. Interspersed with romance and humour, this psychological thriller will have audiences on the edge of their seats.

Classical Music Concert Programme
Theatre on the Square will host the following musical performances:

  • October 21 – Cello and Piano Concert with Wessel Beukes (cello) and Sonja Van Zyl (piano)
  • October 28 – The return of the Ha!Man with cellist Francois Le Roux
  • November 4 – Flute & Piano Concert with Melané Hofmeyr-Burger (flute) and Sonja Van Zyl (piano)

Tickets: Available an hour before at theatre box office for R100 and R60 for members.
Seats are unreserved so you are encouraged to arrive early.
