Huge Foundation secretary said people enjoyed and indulged themselves with good music at the event.

A local non-profit organisation Huge Foundation recently partnered with Harmonious Injectors music choir to host a Youth Month celebration at The Stables Village Market in Chartwell.

The group performed hit songs such as Ithemba Le Diepsloot led by Xolani Nkomo. The song promotes unity, ubuntu, healing and forgiveness.

“We as Harmonious Injectors have given ourselves a responsibility to help unite South Africans through music. Today we were commemorating Youth Month to remember young people who fought for the freedom that we enjoy today,” Hlongwane said.

Secretary at the foundation Lisa Becker thanked the management at The Stables village Market who made it possible for the choir to host its first large-scale music event.

She explained the foundation supported like-minded people and organisations by helping them access resources they needed.

“Imprinting Africa, a media and arts company and Huge Foundation partnered with The Stables to make the music group’s dream to host a major event a reality. We are happy that we were able to achieve our goal to help the choir get exposure. The atmosphere was electric with song and dance, the food served was scrumptious,” she said.
