Officials visit Diepsloot again
The officials are there to unpack the townshi[p economy bill for residents and local SMMEs.
Gauteng Premier David Makhura and MEC for Roads and Transport Jacob Mamabolo visited the community of Diesploot on April 12.
The officials organised a meeting at the Diepsloot Youth Centre to engage with residents as part of the community Ntirhisano Programme. This follows after week-long protests took place in the area last week.

According to the premier’s spokesperson, Vuyo Mhaga, the purpose of the meeting was to unpack the township economy bill for Diepsloot residents and local SMMEs.
Members of the community came out in their numbers to hear what government has to say to address the issue of the high rate of unemployment in the area.
