- Blocks of wood or square wood off-cuts
- Electric drill
- Sanding paper
- Paper clips for antennas
- Googly eyes
- Wood paint (for the eyes and mouth)
- Polyurethane (or mineral oil)
- A metre of string
- Cotton wool
