23 arrested in Douglasdale police operation

DOUGLASDALE — Multiple suspects arrested for various crimes.

Twenty three suspects were arrested by Douglasdale police during operations in the area from March 4 to 6.

They were arrested for crimes ranging from possession of dagga, common assault, drunk driving, selling liquor without a license, shoplifting and reckless and negligent driving.
Spokesperson Captain Mpho Tshetlhane said the suspects will soon appear in the Randburg Magistrate’s Court.

The police urge the community to report all criminal activities in their area by calling the Douglasdale Police Station on 011 699 1300 or 086 001 0111, or use the MySAPS app to send anonymous tip-offs.
