Douglasdale Police Station alongside other stakeholders hosted a domestic workers forum that covered various safety topics on February 24.
Alongside the police were the gender-based violence brigades, Douglasdale Community Policing Forum, the Department of Community Safety and the South African National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence at Fairfield Estate.
Captain Mpho Tshetlhane, spokesperson for the station, said, “The purpose was to raise awareness on domestic violence, gender-based violence, common robberies, home safety, human trafficking, drugs and substance abuse.”

- What to do should the perpetrator disobey the protection order.
