Teaching and learning at Kim Field Academy in Fourways started smoothly on the first day of the 2022 academic year on January 12.
Excited learners arrived on time wearing their clean and neat uniforms ready to kick-start the year on a high note.
Principal Kim Field said school management and staff members were at work a week earlier to ensure that everything was on track on the first day.
She added that the school had taken a decision to allow a limited number of learners per classroom to comply and adhere to Covid-19 social distance regulations.
“The pandemic has brought a lot of changes and the ways we used to do things. As a school, we have decided to allow a maximum of only 15 learners per classroom. We also designed playing circles that make it easier for the young ones not to contact each other,” she said.
