HeronBridge College looks to new year developments

FOURWAYS – HeronBridge is set to host a number of activities and events at the school with the new year inbound.

HeronBridge College starts a new chapter as retired executive head Timothy Irving hands over the reigns to Keith Wilke.

In his year-end message, Irving mentioned a number of events set to take place at the school this year in academics and sports.
“Looking ahead, we are excited about the new chapter before us as we begin our transition into a Curro Select School.

“We are really looking forward to the completion of the long-awaited roadworks on Cedar Road and R114 intersection, as we imagine all our families are too, and we thank each and every one of them for their continued patience in this regard,” said Irving.

Two events the college was looking to host were the Grade 8 Scholarship Open Day on March 5, as well as the inaugural HeronBridge Invitation from March 7 to 21. The latter is a sports festival that includes three winter sports, netball, rugby and hockey.
