WATCH: Kyalami learner commits to help local animal shelters
KYALAMI – Young Tayla Jade Fisher has started her own coaster business in which 50% of the proceeds go toward animal shelters.
A young local is calling on the community to buy a coaster from her business to assist animal shelters.

Grade 4 learner Tayla Jade Fisher started creating homemade resin coasters from which 50% of the earnings will go toward Friends of Rescued Animals (Fora).
Tayla’s mother, Tarryn Inggs, said she also assists her daughter when making the resin coasters which come in two different designs and different colours.
“Tayla loves animals and wanted to be creative and find a way to raise money for animal shelters,” she said.
The coasters can be ordered from Inggs’ email address and take four days from order confirmation and payment. A set of four coasters costs R250, but more can be made at an additional cost.
“Tayla has given them [Fora] a lot of support over the years, but we are absolutely willing to help alternate shelters needing assistance,” she said.
