Crime awareness was the main topic of discussion for Douglasdale police at the All Saints Shopping Centre on August 25.
Douglasdale police, alongside the Community Policing Forum (CPF) and a number of security companies, took to the shopping centre to distribute almost 300 pamphlets to community members on various crime issues.

Spokesperson of the police, Captain Mpho Tshetlhane, thanked everyone who attended and supported the day’s events.
“The purpose of the campaign was to raise awareness on common robberies, theft of or out of the motor vehicle, business robberies, house robberies, hijackings and crime in general,” she said.
