Two accused of dealing drugs in Diepsloot

DIEPSLOOT – Crime intelligence alerted police to a house in Riverside View that was allegedly dealing and manufacturing drugs.


Police officers on highway patrol arrested two male suspects on the evening of 19 April in Riverside View near Diepsloot for allegedly dealing in and manufacturing drugs.

Captain Tinyiko Mathebula of Diepsloot police said crime intelligence had sent information of a drug lab at a house in Riverside View. “Members proceeded to the said house and on arrival, they searched the house and found a drug manufacturing machine which had mandrax powder on it,” Mathebula said.

Two male suspects, aged 26 and 40, who were at the house were arrested and charged with dealing in and manufacturing drugs. They are to appear in the Randburg Magistrates’ Court on 21 April.
