Digital Content Hub calling African creatives to submit animation projects and immersive experience

JOBURG – Any creatives and cultural entrepreneurs from Sub-Saharan African countries can now apply until 4 April 2021

The fifth edition of Digital Lab Africa (DLA), the first mentorship and incubation programme for African creatives in innovative and digital content, has launched its next call for applications.

The first phase is dedicated to animation and immersive experience categories. Any creatives and cultural entrepreneurs from Sub-Saharan African countries can now apply until 4 April 2021 and get the chance to take part in the DLA#5 mentorship and incubation online programme.

Selected applicants are granted a Digital Lab Africa online incubation programme (as per the category) to fast-track the development of their respective project.

The online incubation and mentorship programmes combine group and individual sessions that will help DLA#5 laureates to work on identified needs and strengthen their projects to fast-track its development, including:

  • Online mentorship and coaching by French and Sub-Saharan African experts
  • Online workshops organised by key players of the digital creative industry
  • Participation in online industry events
