Body found in manhole in Diepsloot

DIEPSLOOT – The victim reportedly had no injuries when the body was pulled up from the manhole. 

Emergency services recovered the body of a man from a manhole in Diepsloot this afternoon (1 March).

The Fourways Review journalist, Khomotso Makgabutlane, was on the scene. Diepsloot Police Station, West Rand K9 Search and Rescue and paramedics were called to recover the body, which was found opposite Diepsloot Police Station. The victim reportedly had no injuries when pulled up from the manhole.

Investigations are still ongoing. The Fourways Review is still waiting for comment from officials and will provide more detail as it becomes available.
