VOX POPS: Now that the Covid-19 vaccine is in South Africa, would you take it given the chance?

JOBURG – Healthcare workers, who are essential service staff in the country, will be the first to receive Covid-19 vaccine in South Africa.

The first batch of the AstraZeneca vaccines produced by the Serum Institute in India arrived in South Africa at OR Tambo International Airport on 1 February.

President Cyril Ramaphosa announced during a nation address that frontline healthcare workers would be the first to be injected with the vaccine. The Fourways Review took to the streets of the masked community to find out if they would they take the vaccine if they had the opportunity.
