NOTICE: Joburg North to be affected by a water interruption from 1 December

Joburg Water will provide water tanks at the affected areas


Joburg Water alerts residents of a water interruption that will take place from 1 to 3 December.

The water cut is due to repairs of the 600mm HDPE main pipe at Talavera Complex.

Water Interruption details: 

Suburbs affected: Johannesburg North, parts of Maroeladal, Cedar Lakes, Cedar Creek, Broadacres, Needwood, Cedar Avenue West, Chartwell, Kya Sands,  North Riding and Farmall.

Impact: No Water 

Water Tankers:

  • Cedar Lakes and the  BP Garage at Broadacres Shopping Centre
  • Cedar Creek estate
  • Terranova Complex
  • Thorntree and Stonefields complex in Cedar Avenue West
  • Runnymead and 3rd Road, Chartwell
  • Fifth and Cladon Roads,Chartwell
  • Rietvalei and Zandspruit Roads, Farmall
  • Royal Canin- refill tanks
  • Hyperion Road at Hampstead complex
  • Waterford View Estate
  • Algulhas Road, Bloubosrand
  • Drommedaris Road Bloubosrand
  • Government Street, Joburg North
  • Selbourne Street, Joburg North
