The Waterfall donation drive outlined donations of set amounts on social media which saw many contributions. The drive has been humbled by the generous donations they have received so far.Following the initial launch, the team worked with Checkers at Mall of Africa to purchase goods and have them packaged and ready for collection by Mfudumalo Foundation.

Collections have taken place each week since the start of lockdown and it will continue as long as donations come in during the crisis.

COO of Attacq Group Jackie Van Niekerk said, “It has been phenomenal to see the spirit of ubuntu truly shine throughout our country during these difficult times. Each one of us has a role to play to assist the most affected people in our communities. We are grateful to the selfless members of the Waterfall community who heeded the call for support.”

At the time of publishing, the Waterfall donation drive had received R227 500 in donations. After the kick-start donation, generous donations have streamed in from residents within the Waterfall development.
