100 per cent pass rate for Pinnacle College

KYALAMI – Pinnacle College Kyalami celebrated a 91 per cent bachelor's pass rate.


Pinnacle College’s matric Class of 2019 celebrated their 100 per cent pass rate as a school.

Principal of the school, Angela Barnard expressed her pride in the matric class. In a statement, she said, “I would like to congratulate our matriculants of 2019 on their outstanding matric results. I have no doubt that based on this sound academic principle our matrics have acquired the work ethic to achieve many more successes in any post-school environment they wish to enter.”

She concluded by wishing the students the best of luck with their future endeavours and reminded them to dream big.

Of the 100 per cent pass rate, 91 per cent of learners achieved a bachelor pass rate of 91 per cent while nine per cent obtained a diploma pass.

Racquel Nina Dennison was the top of her class as she obtained an 85. 4 per cent average. She obtained five distinctions in business studies, mathematics, dramatic arts, accounting and life orientation.

Talyah Moses obtained six distinctions with an average of 81 per cent. Her distinctions were in mathematics, information technology, accounting, business studies, life orientation, and Afrikaans first additional language.

Both Brandon Mcleod Weir and Zoë Bucwa received four distinctions with averages of 78.7 and 78 per cent respectively.

Brandon’s distinctions were in dramatic arts, life orientation, business studies and computer applications technology. Zoë’s distinctions were for history, mathematical literacy, business studies and life orientation.
