Good dogs seek good home

FOURWAYS – Are you looking to adopt a new family pet? The Pets organisation has five precious dogs currently looking for their new homes.

The Pet Empowerment in the Townships (Pets) non-profit organisation strives to empower people in townships and poor communities to better care for their animals.

Volunteers work with the community to improve the lives of these disadvantaged animals by giving them daily meals, warm shelters, regular inoculations, sterilisations and vet care in emergencies and also rehomes those ones that are unwanted, unloved or lost.

Pets will then arrange for you to meet the animal you are interested in and do a home check. If the home check is approved and you like the dog, the adoption is approved. The adoption fee for both dogs and cats is R600 and includes their vaccinations, deworming, flea treatments as well as their sterilisation and microchipping.
