Police call for youth to volunteer

MIDRAND – Police are calling on the local community to volunteer at their youth desk.


The Midrand Police Station is calling for volunteers at their youth desk.

Spokesperson for the station Constable Thabiso Selowa said the police are looking for people between the ages of 18 and 35 to assist at their youth desk, a volunteer platform that encourages a partnership between the police and local youth community.

She said that volunteers would assist the police with school and community outreach projects in the station’s policing area, which will focus on anti-substance abuse and anti-bullying campaigns.
