Fourways High and St Peter’s College give it their all at hockey festival

FOURWAYS – Fourways High and St Peter's College strut their stuff at two hockey festivals.

Fourways High and St Peter’s College strut their stuff at two hockey festivals, one for first teams and the other junior teams, hosted by Redhill School.

The festivals were aimed at getting like-minded co-ed schools to come together and develop hockey and to allow coaches and players to try different things before the season started.

Other schools that attended were Parktown Girls, Randpark High, Maragon and Curro Waterstone.

All matches were closely contested with some great individual performances from each school.

Head of hockey at Redhill, David Joshua, shared his plans for the year ahead. “Our aim as the school is to sustain Boden A section status, and last year we won in the Boden B section so we looking to build on that. This year for our first team boys we are looking to win the tournament in the Boden B section.”
