PICS: Lonehill residents don’t mind a little rain at Carols in the Park

LONEHILL – Rain or shine, residents enjoyed the 12th annual carols in the park.

Noted as the highlight on the Lonehill Resident Association annual events calendar, Carols in the Park saw attendees brave the rain all in the name of festive cheer.

The 12th annual event saw attendees enjoying Christmas carols sang by children, a visit from Santa and two hours of carol singing with singers, Tony Bala, Simone Govender and Will Rayz.

“We are very proud of our beautifully maintained Lonehill Park,” said the association’s Shelley Miller, adding that the event was an entertaining family evening with lots of food and beverages vendors and entertainment for the children.
