Here are the top toys this Christmas, as voted for by children

RIVERSANDS – Makro, with some expert input from children, has announced the top 10 best toys available this Christmas.

It doesn’t matter if the children have been naughty or nice – Makro knows what they will ask Santa for this year.

To kick off the countdown to the festive season, Makro unveiled the first of this year’s BesTest toys, as rated by their panel of esteemed experts – children.

The top 10 toys were announced during a ceremony in Sunninghill on 21 September, which was a follow-up from the never-been-done-before toy extravaganza that was held at Makro Riversands on 21 July where 300 children served as toy testers for the day.

To ensure a fair result and evaluation process for each product, Makro gave all the children a voting sheet to determine which toys were the top 10 in the country and ones they would want under their Christmas tree.

The retail and warehouse giant in partnership with 12 of the BesTest toy brands in South Africa including Lego, Matell, Hasbro, Nintendo, Lacey’s, Xbox, Verimark, Tevo, Playstation, Just Fun Toys, JBL and Prima Toys showcased a collection of toys which were released into the South African market.
