Braamfontein Spruit swells as rain continues to fall
SUNNINGHILL – More rainfall is expected today.
The persistent rain over the past few hours has seen the water level of the Braamfontein Spruit to rise.
It is particularly evident when travelling over the bridge on Witkoppen Road in Sunninghill.

This bridge is known to flood in heavy rains, and therefore caution is advised.
In the early hours of this morning, Paulshof shook with a mighty roar of thunder which caused a power outage to some areas of the suburb.
According to the SA Weather Service, more rainfall and thunderstorms are expected today.
