Fabulous winter holiday fun for all at Fourways Mall

Sections of Fourways Mall may be under construction, but there’s no doubt about it – it’s the place to visit these winter school holidays, with an adventurous mix of specially created and curated experiences adding to the centre’s already existing entertainment offerings for the whole family.

In addition to firm favourites BOUNCE, Adventure Golf and The Fun Company (including Tenpin Bowling), the Mall has created 14 popup entertainment stations along the shopper’s journey, giving kids and adults alike the opportunity to take a breather whilst shopping.

The #FourwaysFun popup stations include the likes of ‘A Spot of Fun’, where shoppers of all ages are encouraged to stick coloured dots anywhere and everywhere, all over the walls and furniture too – breaking all the rules that would apply at home!

Instagram opportunities are everywhere, from the ‘Snow Globe’ selfie station to the Thought and Speech Bubbles corridor that adds a social twist to the passage to the loo. As well as the Bucket List Wall outside Mr Price Home which includes a magnetic wall.

The Mall will be home to a baby grand piano, situated next to Steve Madden, seemingly held afloat by a cloud of balloons, and shoppers are invited to tickle the ivories for a touch of whimsy during their shopping journey.

The Emoji Mojo Corner offers a themed backdrop and endless emojis and other props to make the most of emoji moments, from ( :D ) to (hearteyes), (kiss), and of course (stareyes).

For those that find shopping a stressful experience (here’s looking at you, Dad!), three pillars throughout the mall will be wrapped in bubble wrap, with shoppers invited to pop as many bubbles as they can.

While the 14 #FourwaysFun installations will only be in place from 22 June to 1 July 2018, they hint at the full shoppertainment experience that will be on offer once the Mall’s refurbishment is complete. New venues in the pipeline include KidZania, a massive children’s educational city, a Panarotti’s family restaurant on the lower food court level, and a new French Taco (Mezzanine Level) among others.

• Want big hair? Take a selfie in the Hair Chair to see what you’d look like with a different ‘do, opposite Woolworths.
• Ready for a makeover? Transform yourself at the selfie passage next to Steve Madden.
• Let off some steam by popping bubble wrap on the Stress Relief Pillars opposite Truworths and Wimpy
• Make your voice heard in the interactive selfie station in the passage next to Beauty Factory
• Make your mark with a dot or few in the interactive play room next to Dis-chem
• Take a winter-themed selfie in the Snow Globe opposite Morgan’s Eatery
• Get all tangled up in the Yarning Box opposite Wimpy
• Got a pipe dream? Chat to your friends on the Mezzanine level from down below in the Food Court area, using        brightly coloured pipes
• Have fun with Emoji Madness opposite Steers and pick the perfect emoji for your pic!
• Reach for your dreams at the Selfie Spot next to BOUNCE
• Head outdoors for a round of Adventure Golf
• Bounce, clip and climb, jump or ‘fly’ at BOUNCE
