Bunnies hop and hope for a new home

FOURWAYS – Here are some of the rabbits and bunnies up for adoption from the Bunny Tales Rescue organisation.

Are you looking for a hoppy and happy rabbit to bring home? Here are some of the bunnies up for adoption this week.

The Bunny Tales Rescue organisation aims to help rabbits at various abandoned sites around Johannesburg. They provide food, water and veterinary care to the sick or injured and take in orphaned rabbits. The organisation educates people on rabbit ownership, behaviours and the importance of sterilisation.

All adoptions are subject to home checks and the completion of adoption forms. All bunnies must be sterilised and the adoption fee is subject to sterilisation status.

Baby bunnies must be rehomed in pairs or go to a house where they will have rabbit company and sleep indoors until three months of age. The bonded adults must be adopted together.
