FOURWAYS – They threaten to block the route to the Fourways Memorial Park.

Diepsloot residents have threatened to block the route of Winnie Madikizela-Mandela’s funeral procession later today.

This is according to Johannesburg Metro police spokesperson, Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar.

He said that the protesters were threatening to block the route to the Fourways Memorial Park where Madikizela-Mandela will  be laid to rest later today.

Minnaar explained that the residents expressed that they were upset over a stalled project in the area and that they were demanding that workers be paid.
