Soccer kits for Douglasdale police
DOUGLASDALE – The Douglasdale police soccer team received new soccer kit thanks to The Office Guru.
The Douglasdale Police Station and The Office Guru have partnered to ensure the vision for a fitter and healthier community.
Station Commander Brigadier Samuel Thambo and The Office Guru’s managing director, Jamie Taylor share a passion for football and have chosen soccer as the language to communicate with the police force.
The station’s team, which is already near the top of the Saps league, received their new soccer kit at the captain’s parade recently.
“We are very proud to be associated with our local station and challenge corporate businesses in other areas to get involved,” said Taylor.
Thambo emphasised the importance of the relationship between business and community in combating crime. “Communication is a key factor helping us reduce the statistics. To be supported by a local business from the corporate communication industry is wonderful. It is a relationship made in heaven.”
