Taking you on a journey to Scotland, the Transvaal Scottish Pipes & Drums proudly presents Affinity, Spirit of Scotland, a Celtic spectacular showcasing the music and dance of Scotland.

With arrangements by renowned Musical Director, Eddie Clayton, the show features the Johannesburg Youth Orchestra, South Africa’s premier Pipe Band, the Transvaal Scottish Pipes & Drums, guest artists from Scotland and sensational South African singers Zita Pretorius and Timothy Moloi.

“Whether you have Scottish heritage or not, or just love the sound of bagpipes, the audience will experience that spirit and passion synonymous with all things Celtic, says Musical Director, Eddie Clayton.”

From Scotland, world champion pipers John Elliott, Craig Munro and Scott Wallace join the cast of over 80 performers.

Craig Munro, member of the famous Scottish rock band, the Red Hot Chilli Pipers, will wow audiences with his groundbreaking fusion of traditional Scottish music and rock/pop anthems.

Bringing traditional favourites to life such as Amazing Grace, Caledonia and Skye Boat Song, the show will feature classically and commercially trained, award nominated singers Zita Pretorius and Timothy Moloi

With the perfect mix of traditional, foot-tapping Celtic favourites and skillful piping and drumming, the show is set to thrill both the pipe band enthusiast and Scottish fan alike.
