Windmill on Main to be rebuilt, says owner

The owner of the Windmill on Main restaurant in Kyalami, which burnt down on the morning of 27 December last year, said he would like to rebuild the place.

Colin Mclellan said he was away on holiday abroad when he heard the disturbing news that his restaurant had caught fire. The restaurant was established in August 2014 and was famous for its low-carbohydrate pizza which was made using ingredients from the property’s garden.

“We are waiting for more information to know what happened and how we will take it forward but we definitely would like to rebuild,” Mclellan explained.
