In support of International Childhood Cancer Day (ICCD) on the 15th of February, Suzelle DIY and CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation SA are calling upon all South Africans to “Have a Heart for Children with Cancer.” This day is set aside as a global collaborative initiative to raise awareness of childhood cancer and to express support for children with cancer, survivors and their families.
“We call upon schools, corporates, and community groups to wear blue on the day with the ICCD badge like I have or heart-pin or buy their loved ones a delicious heart-shaped chocolate for Valentine’s Day. It will all help in the effort to spread the message,” said Suzelle.
