HeronBridge celebrates 100 per cent pass rate

FOURWAYS – HeronBridge College is very proud of its Grade 12 class of 2017. Find out how they did in their finals here!

HeronBridge College celebrated the hard work of last year’s 84 Grade 12s as the matric results were released to the public.

The school, based in Nietgedacht, received a 100 per cent pass rate and a 91 per cent pass to degree studies. The class of 2017 were awarded 110 distinctions in total, and 11 matrics passed with an A aggregate, while 18 passed with a B aggregate.

HeronBridge is very proud to announce that Kayla Richie received the IEB outstanding and commendable achievements award – the IEB’s highest academic achievement – because she was placed in the top five per cent of all matrics in six or more subjects. She is also one of the top 50 matriculants in South Africa.

  • Georgie Tasioulas – seven distinctions
  • Jason Kamps – six distinctions
  • Mitchell Williams – six distinctions
  • Caitlyn Bothma – six distinctions
  • Michael de Kock – five distinctions
  • Miren Bitcham – four distinctions
  • Dylan Durant – four distinctions
  • Chiara le Roux – four distinctions
