Midrand Sector 4 crime forum spends time with Cluny Farm

KYALAMI – Members for the Midrand Sector 4 CPF visited Cluny Farm Centre on Christmas day to give gifts and joy to its residents. Read all about it here!

The Community Police Forum (CPF) in Sector 4, Midrand, shared the spirit of Christmas with residents of Cluny Farm Centre [clunyfarm.co.za] by bringing gifts from the community on the morning of Christmas Day, 25 December 2017.

Cluny Farm, located in Sun Valley, Kyalami, is a working farm and a care centre for adults with intellectual disabilities. Fifty-one residents live and work on the farm, some of whom remained at the facilities over the festive season as they have no relatives whom they could join.

As Cluny Farm is part of Sector 4 in Midrand, and part of a close community of the greater Kyalami area, members of the CPF decided to show the caring spirit of the community by bringing gifts of personal hygiene items to the 30 or so residents who remained at the centre.

The gifts were purchased from donations made by community members, resident associations in the area and Sector 4 CPF members themselves. CPF representatives arrived at Cluny Farm on Christmas day to deliver the gifts and share a few joyful moments with Cluny Farm residents.

An immense ‘thank you’ goes out to all those who have demonstrated their consideration for the less-fortunate members of the community by donating to this cause, and to the CPF members for their initiative.
