FOURWAYS – At the last networking session of the year, Hirsch's Fourways hosted some very special guests! Find out more here.
Hirsch’s Fourways recently held its final networking session for the year.
Members from the Domestic Workers Network, Ladies Network and Business Network were invited to a special Christmas celebration and brought snacks to enjoy together.
The meeting was opened by Jabu Ncube, a local motivational speaker from Alex who focuses on the youth, who delivered his Christmas motivation.
“He spoke of faith and hope and how to keep on getting up and pushing forward. A very appropriate talk for this time of year,” said Sharron Dingle from Hirsch’s Fourways.
“We then had a trained professionl, Warren Chong do a self-defense demo. We thought this is appropriate especially at this time of year.”
Chong said, “People must not try to be a hero, but rather focus on getting away to a place where they are safe.”
Dingle said, “The next Margaret Hirsch’s Woman in Business finalist, Michele Thwaits, was also recognised at the event. We are so proud to be empowering women in the area.”
Jean Berdou from Future City Fourways attended the event. According to Dingle, Hirsch’s is very happy to partner with him in the Fourways and Sandton areas in the future.
The networking sessions will commence on 25 January next year at Hirsch’s Fourways.
