Douglasdale police are on the hunt for three suspects who allegedly shot a man in his early 40s in Pineslopes on 30 September.
The victim was rushed to hospital in a critical condition and was stabilised.
He was allegedly in his car, which was stopped at a boom gate, when three unknown men approached him. One of the suspects allegedly pulled out a firearm and shot him in his upper body.
“The suspects then fled the scene in a white Volkswagen Polo. The motive behind the incident is still not known. The police [investigation is] continuing,” said Captain Mpho Kgasoane, the spokesperson for Douglasdale Police Station.
Kgasoane appealed to community members who have information that would assist the police investigation to contact Douglasdale police.
