An incident on Witkoppen Road at the intersection of Main Road on Thursday is drawing much commentary on social media platforms, but the Douglasdale Community Policing Forum (CPF) have appealed to the community to refrain from speculating.
Douglasdale CPF chairperson, Jean Berdou said, “The SAPS Douglasdale have requested that police investigations in this matter be allowed to proceed without further media comment at this stage due to the nature and sensitivity of this investigation.”
Further, Berdou added that the Douglasdale CPF appealed to the public to refrain from speculating. “A full announcement will be made as soon as the SAPS give the go-ahead,” said Berdou.
“Rest assured the matter is receiving top priority.”
