Montecasino warns residents of increased noise during this year’s Caravela Portuguese Festival

FOURWAYS – The general manager of Montecasino informs neighbouring residents that there will be more noise than usual during this year's Caravela Portuguese Festival.

Glen Joseph, general manager of Montecasino writes:

Dear valued Montecasino neighbour,

Montecasino will host the cream of South African, Portuguese and Madeiran musical talent at this year’s Caravela Portuguese Festival which will celebrating Madeira Day.

Due to the nature of these events, please be aware that Montecasino might be noisier than usual as there will be several DJs and live performances throughout the weekend. We would also like to inform you that there will be no fireworks at the festival.

Dates: 30 June to 2 July

Times: 30 June: 10am to 11pm

1 July: 10am to 11pm

2 July: 10am to 8pm

Venue: Montecasino outdoor events area

We apologise for any inconvenience caused to you during this time but can assure you that we have received council approval of all activities and will be well within our approved parameters. We will do our utmost to ensure that the experience is well managed and is safe and enjoyable for all concerned.
