Enjoy a little peace and quiet in Douglasdale’s very own piece of heaven

DOUGLASDALE – Find out a little bit more about what's available at the Kingfisher Nature Reserve here.

 

Unwind, enjoy and discover a nature reserve which is a true jewel in the heart of Douglasdale.

Kingfisher Nature Reserve is home to a variety of flora and fauna and covers an area of about 16 hectares – the perfect spot to unwind on a Sunday.

Community members can enjoy this reserve twice a month. It is open on the second and last Sunday of every month and during winter will be open from 8.30am to 5pm.

Bring the family, pack a lunch, visit the bird hide or just relax on the grass.

Entrance is free, and donations are most welcome.
