Have a braai with the Springboks in aid of Chris Burger Petro Jackson Players’ Fund

MAGALIESSIG – Read on how you can braai with the Springboks ahead of the final French Test and raise funds for the Players' Fund.

The Play the Bounce Braai event to be hosted by BrightRock and the Chris Burger Petro Jackson Players’ Fund will kick off on 20 June at Café Cru at Southern Sun Montecasino.

The event will see guests having the opportunity to enjoy a decent South African braai with the full Springbok squad and management several together with former icons of the game.

The event aims to raise much-needed funds for the Players’ Fund which provides assistance to catastrophically injured rugby players in South Africa.

This fundraising event will be followed the next day by a special, once in a lifetime rugby training day for young players of the VUKA Rugby Development Programme, under the guidance of SA rugby legends Stefan Terblanche, Pieter Muller and former Bok coach, Ian McIntosh.

The cost for the braai is R5 000 which includes two tickets and sponsorship for one young player to attend the training day. The event promises to be a bucket list experience and will include a rugby-themed quiz where attendees will be paired up with the players to bolster their competitive edge.
